my grandpa curt had many, many amazing talents. one that he was known by many for was his wood crafting. he used to make toys for the "toys for tots" organization at christmas. i have a bunch of adorable things he made me throughout the years, including a babydoll cradle that i adore and will hopefully pass down to my children one day.by far, my favorite is the heirloom cradle. a real-life baby cradle he made especially for his great-grandbabies. it has been passed down five times now and each great-grandchild has a plaque with their name on it displayed on the end. it is the most beautiful piece of woodwork i've ever seen and i cannot wait to rock my babies to sleep in it one day....
