christmas 2008..

sorry i've neglected my blog readers for close to a month now...but i have a good excuse. the holidays of course! it's amazing it's already come and gone and we're halfway through the first month of the new year. is it that the older you get, the faster the time goes by? what a wonderful christmas and new year holiday we had though...

first off, seattle got a record snowfall of 9 inches (with another 5 a few days later)!! the city shuts down when it snows more than an inch, so luke and i got to start our christmas vacation a few days early! mom came in town and she, pops, luke and i somehow managed to make it down to phoenix, even with all the flights oversold! we met up with ryan, jason and anna for 10 whole days in the sun! it was spent eating way too much food, opening way too many gifts and laughing way too much (ok, you can never laugh TOO much:). it was wonderful to be together and to have additions to our family of 5.

then we managed to ALL make it back to seattle (including ryan's girlfriend, sarah who came from chicago) and ring in the new year with champagne and some crazy bowling on the wii. we spent the next few days on seattle tour number 2, thanks to luke, watching movies and just relaxing. all in all, it was one of the best christmases ever. :)

of course, i took way too many pictures that will take me this whole new year to edit and post, but here are a few of my favorites so far...
